New York Giants legendary quarterback Eli Manning received some admirable praise from Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud, one of the fastest risers in the NFL.
After an incredible season that put both Stroud and the Texans on the map as legit contenders in the AFC, their hopes fell short in the divisional round of the playoffs.
Stroud put up fantastic numbers as a rookie, but his team ultimately fell short of earning Super Bowl rings.
That's why, when given the choice between a career arc like Manning's versus one like Aaron Rodgers', Stroud prefers the former.
“You want the rings, dog. Eli got two,” Stroud said in an appearance with teammate Tank Dell on the "MILLION DOLLAZ WORTH OF GAME" podcast.

That's some high praise from one of the top young quarterbacks in the NFL. Considering the awards Rodgers has collected throughout his career, some might consider this a hot take. Some might trade a second Super Bowl ring for the various awards.
Rodgers has had an incredible career filled with numerous accolades. The former Green Bay Packers and current Jets quarterback has four MVP awards, 10 Pro Bowl nods and four All-Pro First-Team selections.
But where he falls short in comparison to Manning is the rings. Rodgers has one to Manning's two.
The former Giants signal-caller was a four-time Pro Bowler, but he never earned the type of accolades that Rodgers did throughout his career.
However, Manning will be remembered for winning when it mattered most and taking down the GOAT on two separate occasions to earn Super Bowl rings.
At the end of the day, that's what it's all about.
