Home-field advantage is a real thing. The Chiefs defeated the Bengals 45-10 on "Sunday Night Football." 

Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes was 28 of 39 for 358 yards and four touchdowns. It was is his sixth consecutive game with over 300 passing yards, the longest streak in Chiefs' history. Running back Kareem Hunt had three touchdowns — one rushing and two receiving — and a total of 141 yards. 

The Bengals' offense struggled. Andy Dalton was 15 for 29 with an interception, and he was sacked twice. Dalton was replaced late in the fourth quarter by backup quarterback Jeff Driskel. The only bright spot for the Bengals was A.J. Green, who had seven catches for 117 yards.

11:28 p.m.: Final. That'll do it. The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Cincinnati Bengals 45-10. 

11:23 p.m.: Two minute warning. Jeff Driskel's first NFL completion is to wide receiver Cody Core for 7 yards to the Bengals 18. 

11:20 p.m.: The Bengals backup quarterback, Jeff Driskel, replaces Andy Dalton, making his NFL debut. 

11:18 p.m.: Spencer Ware is stuffed just short of a first down at the Bengals 3. The Chiefs turn the ball over on downs. 

11:15 p.m.: Spencer Ware stumbles but rushes for 35 yards to the Bengals 10. 

11:11 p.m.: Sammy Watkins catches all 11-yard pass to the Chiefs 22. 

11:08 p.m.: Wide receiver Demarcus Robinson returns the punt 5 yards to the Chiefs 20. Cornerback Josh Shaw is penalized 10 yards for an illegal block. 

11:06 p.m.: The Bengals are unable to convert a first down and go three-and-out. 

10:58 p.m.: Chiefs touchdown. Patrick Mahomes finds Tyreek Hill in the end zone wide open for a 3-yard touchdown pass. The extra point is good. Kansas City extends its lead over Cincinnati, 45-10. 

10:56 p.m.: Kareem Hunt rushes 16 yards to the Bengals 19. 

10:54 p.m.: Patrick Mahomes opens the fourth quarter with a 20-yard pass to Travis Kelce to the Bengals 35. 

Third quarter: Bengals 10, Chiefs 38 

10:50 p.m.: There's 15 minutes left to play. The Chiefs head into the fourth quarter leading 38-10. They will get the ball on their own 45 when play resumes. 

10:48 p.m.: Tyreek Hill catches a 13-yard pass from Patrick Mahomes for a first down to the Chiefs 33.

10:44 p.m.: Tyreek Hill returns the punt 10 yards to the Chiefs 18. 

10:42 p.m.: Sack. Andy Dalton is sacked at the Bengals 37 for a loss of 11 yards. Despite the interception, the Bengals go three-and-out. 

10:39 p.m.:  Interception. The Chiefs start on their own 20. Patrick Mahomes is intercepted by safety Shawn Williams and returned for 21 yards to the Bengals 48. 

10:35 p.m.: Bengals field goal. Cincinnati will settle for a field goal. Kicker Randy Bullock's 33-yard attempt is good. The Chiefs lead 38-10. 

10:28 p.m.: Andy Dalton hits wide receiver Tyler Boyd for a 13-yard gain to the Chiefs 17. 

10:26 p.m.:  Harrison Butker's kick is into the end zone; the Bengals will start with the ball on their own 20. 

10:22 p.m.: Pick-six. The Bengals get the ball on their own 20 but Andy Dalton is intercepted by safety Ron Parker; he returns the pass 29 yards for a touchdown. The extra point is good. The Chiefs lead 38-7. 

10:17 p.m.: Chiefs touchdown. Kareem Hunt finds his way into the end zone for the third time tonight with a 2-yard touchdown run. The extra point is good. The Chiefs take a commanding 31-7 lead.

10:14 p.m.: Patrick Mahomes completes a long pass to Sammy Watkins for 50 yards to the Bengals 25. 

10:12 p.m.: We are back in action! The Chiefs will start with the ball on their own 20. 

Halftime: Bengals 7, Chiefs 24

9:58 p.m.: Alex Erickson returns the punt 28 yards to the Bengals 33. Time expires and the Chiefs take a 24-7 lead into halftime. 

9:56 p.m.: Chiefs field goal. Harrison Butker's 27-yard field goal attempt is good. The Chiefs extend their lead 24-7 with eight seconds left in the half. 

9:51 p.m.: The Chiefs are in field goal range after a 23-yard rush to the Bengals 31 by Patrick Mahomes. 

9:50 p.m.: Patrick Mahomes completes a pass up the middle to Travis Kelce for a 13-yard gain to the Chiefs 33. 

9:46 p.m.: The Bengals start with the ball on their own 40 but go three-and-out. Punter Kevin Huber's 57-yard punt rolls into the end zone; the Chiefs start with the ball on their own 20. 

9:42 p.m.: Chiefs touchdown. Patrick Mahomes hits a wide open Demetrius Harris in the end zone for a 17-yard touchdown. The extra point is good. The Chiefs lead 21-7 with a little under 2 minutes to play in the half. 

9:36 p.m.: Back-to-back first downs for the Chiefs. Kareem Hunt rushes 11 yards to the Bengals 31, followed by a 10 yard rush from Patrick Mahomes to the Bengals 21. 

9:35 p.m.: Running back Spencer Ware catches a pass for a 10-yard gain and a first down at the 50 yard line. 

9:34 p.m.: Kareem Hunt catches a pass from Patrick Mahomes for a 13-yard gain to the Chiefs 36. 

9:33 p.m.: Cornerback Tremon Smith returns the punt 23 yards to the Chiefs 23. 

9:28 p.m.: Bengals touchdown. Tight end C.J. Uzomah catches a 4-yard touchdown pass to put the Bengals on the board. The extra point is good. The Chiefs lead 14-7.

9:08 p.m.: Tyreek Hill catches a pass from Patrick Mahomes for a 15-yard gain to the Bengals 16. 

9:05 p.m.: Cincinnati goes three-and-out. The punt is fumbled and recovered at the Bengals 33 by Clayton Fejedelem for an 11-yard gain. 

First quarter: Bengals 0, Chiefs 7

9:02 p.m.: That'll do it for the first quarter. The Bengals will start with the ball on their own 49, with four yards to go for a first down. The Chiefs lead 7-0.

9 p.m.: A 25-yard pass to wide receiver Sammy Watkins was challenged by the Bengals and the initial call on the field, a catch, is overturned. The pass is incomplete. Kicker Harrison Butker's 53-yard field goal attempt is no good. The score remains the same. 

8:54 p.m.: Travis Kelce is pushed out of bounds at the Bengals 28 for a gain of 43 yards and a first down. 

8:51 p.m.: Punter Kevin Huber's 37-yard punt is returned by Tyreek Hill for 9 yards to the Chiefs 22.

8:48 p.m.: Sack. Andy Dalton is sacked and fumbles at the Bengals 48. Dalton recovers the fumble but that is fourth down and they will be forced to punt. 

8:45 p.m.: Wide receiver A.J. Green catches a pass from quarterback Andy Dalton for a 29-yard gain to the Bengals 45. 

8:41 p.m.: Wide receiver Alex Erickson returns the punt for 17 yards to the Bengals 18. There is a personal foul called on safety Brandon Wilson for minus 9 yards. 

8:37 p.m.: Chiefs touchdown. Kareem Hunt gets into the end zone for a 6-yard touchdown. The extra point is good. The Chiefs lead 7-0. 

8:36 p.m.: Running back Kareem Hunt barrels through the defense for a 21-yard run to the Bengals 6. 

8:33 p.m.: Patrick Mahomes connects with Demarcus Robinson and Kareem Hunt for 14 and 13 yards respectively. That is three consecutive first downs for the Chiefs. They are now in Bengals territory at the Bengals 44. 

8:28 p.m.: Tyreek Hill catches a pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes up the middle for 27 yards to the Chiefs 32.

8:25 p.m.: The Bengals go three-and-out on their opening drive. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill returns the 60-yard punt two yards to the Chiefs 10. 

8:23 p.m.: We are underway at Arrowhead Stadium. The Bengals will receive first.
