Christine Michael is now on the waiver wire.
With Thomas Rawls expected to return from injury for Week 11, Michael was released by the Seahawks on Tuesday, the NFL Network reported.

It's a bit of a surprising move, given Michael started for the Seahawks for much of the first half of the season, leading the team in rushing with 469 yards and six touchdowns on 117 carries. But Rawls' return and the emergence of rookie running back C.J. Prosise apparently made Michael him expendable.
Rawls, out since Week 2 with a hairline fracture in his fibula, is “practicing to play" Sunday against the Eagles, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Monday.
FANTASY: Rawls a pickup with upside
Michael was selected by the Seahawks in the second round of the 2013 draft out of Texas A&M. He played for the Cowboys in 2015 and spent one month with Redskins before returning to Seattle in December 2015.
