One of the most highly anticipated rematches of the entire season will kick off the 2024 NFL season.

The Chiefs host the Ravens on Thursday, September 5 in a rematch of last year's AFC Championship Game. After finishing the 2023 regular season with a league-best 13-4 record, the Ravens were upset by the Chiefs in the AFC title game.

Baltimore now has a chance to avenge that season-ending loss during the 2024 regular season. It won't come easy as Lamar Jackson and Co. will have to enter the red kingdom. Kansas City and Baltimore don't have extensive history, but a rivalry may just be beginning.

To revamp, the Ravens signed running back Derrick Henry, a much needed addition after Jackson led the team in rushing last year. However, they also lose Odell Beckham Jr. They'll be in search of a second wideout behind Zay Flowers, who had a breakout season as a rookie.
