Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs put on an offensive clinic in the team's 41-31 victory over Tom Brady and the Buccaneers on "Sunday Night Football."
In the sixth meeting between the two star quarterbacks, Mahomes stole the show with 247 passing yards and three touchdowns. His favorite target, tight end Travis Kelce, also stood out with nine catches for 92 yards and a touchdown.
Brady (39 for 52, 385 yards, three TDs, no INTs) and the Bucs' offense put in a respectable performance, but Tampa Bay's defense was overwhelmed by its opponent's offensive barrage.
The win by Kansas City leaves Mahomes and Brady tied 3-3 in their all-time head-to-head meetings. It also marks possibly the last time the two will meet on an NFL field.

Chiefs vs. Buccaneers live updates, highlights from 'Sunday Night Football'
(All times Eastern)
11:33 p.m. FINAL — That'll do it. Mahomes and the Chiefs come away with a win over Brady and the Bucs in Tampa.
11:27 p.m. — Edwards-Helaire thought he had another first down run, but a holding penalty brings it back. It's 3rd and 17 with 1:41 left on the clock, so the Bucs will likely get the ball back. They're out of timeouts, needing at least a field goal and a touchdown.
11:24 p.m. TWO-MINUTE WARNING — The Chiefs run it for a first down and this game is almost over. Kansas City will move to 3-1 with a win while Tampa Bay will likely drop to 2-2 after tonight.
Chiefs 41, Buccaneers 31
11:17 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — The Bucs capitalize on the turnover as Brady finds Leonard Fournette for the touchdown. That's the running back's first time in the end zone this season. It might be impactful for some fantasy teams out there tonight, but it's more than likely just a consolation for Tampa in this game.

11:12 p.m. INTERCEPTION — Mahomes goes deep on 3rd down for Smith-Schuster but gets picked off by Sean Murphy-Bunting, who runs it back to the KC 34-yard line. That's Mahomes' first real mistake of the night, but it's going to be too little too late for Tampa.
11:06 p.m. — Back-to-back offensive penalties bring up 3rd and 26 for the Bucs, and they can't convert. Another punt incoming.
11:04 p.m. — The Bucs pick up a first down, but with about nine minutes left any hope of a comeback is fading by the second.
Chiefs 41, Buccaneers 24
10:58 p.m. FIELD GOAL — The Chiefs can't convert on 3rd and 2, and they'll send out the field goal unit. Matthew Wright puts it through from 32 yards out to extend the lead.
10:55 p.m. — On 3rd and 4, Mahomes finds Kelce for the 9th time tonight. That's a great catch by Kelce, who continues to feast on the Bucs' secondary.
Not many TEs are making that catch. @TKelce makes it look routine.

10:45 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — Rachaad White leaps over the pile for his first NFL touchdown. Tampa continues to hang around in this game.

10:43 p.m. — More bad news on the injury front for the Bucs — Chris Godwin is now down. He manages to walk off the field under his own power.
10:40 p.m. — A beautiful throw and catch from Brady to rookie Ko Kieft puts Tampa inside the Kansas City 5-yard line. On the next play, an unnecessary roughness call on the Chiefs moves them up to the 2-yard line.
10:38 p.m. — Beyond just feeding Evans, Bowles has now basically completely abandoned the running game. Just one rushing attempt for the Buccaneers so far this half.
10:37 p.m. — Tampa head coach Todd Bowles is now opting to feed Mike Evans. He hauls in two catches to quickly move the Bucs to midfield.
10:34 p.m. — To make matters worse for Tampa, tight end Cameron Brate just got ruled out for the rest of a game with a concussion.
Chiefs 38, Buccaneers 17
10:31 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — The Chiefs are making it look easy. Mahomes throws a strike to Jody Fortson for his third passing TD of the night.

10:30 p.m. — On 3rd and 5, Mahomes slings it to Skyy Moore for 16 more yards and another first down.
10:27 p.m. — This Kansas City offense is relentless. Mahomes drops it in the bucket for Valdes-Scantling, who secures the catch down the right sideline for a gain of 25 yards. The Chiefs are closing in on the red zone again.
10:22 p.m. — Brady gets the ball back and starts by firing a first down pass to Chris Godwin. But the drive stalls out after that, with three straight passes falling incomplete. The Bucs will have to punt it away.
10:20 p.m. — Another big milestone for Mahomes tonight:

Chiefs 31, Buccaneers 17
10:16 p.m. FIELD GOAL — Matthew Wright, who replaced Matt Ammendola as Kansas City's fill-in kicker this week, is good from 44 yards out.
10:15 p.m. — Tampa dials up pressure on 2nd down to force an errant throw from Mahomes. On the ensuing 3rd down, Mahomes airs it out but can't connect with Skyy Moore in the end zone. The field goal unit is coming on.
10:10 p.m. — The Chiefs get the ball to start the half and right away they're driving. On 3rd and 10, Mahomes sets up a screen for Smith-Schuster, who breaks free for a gain of 19 yards.
10:05 p.m. — It's worth noting the Chiefs' kick returner Isiah Pacheco almost broke free on that last kickoff of the half. That could have been a devastating play, but the Bucs' special teamers just barely managed to bring him down.
9:58 p.m. — An entertaining first half comes to an end. The Chiefs looked like they might run away with it for a while there, but Brady and the Bucs' offense have done enough to keep themselves in the game. Kansas City will get the ball to start the third quarter.
End of first half: Chiefs 28, Buccaneers 17
9:55 p.m. — The Chiefs get the ball back with 4 seconds left on the clock. They run a play rather than kneeling it out, but Mahomes gets sacked and that'll end the first half.
Chiefs 28, Buccaneers 17
9:52 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — Brady to Evans again! TB12 looks for his favorite red zone target and finds him in the back corner. That's the second time they've connected for a touchdown tonight.

9:50 p.m. — On 3rd and 1, Brady slings it to Evans for a 16-yard pickup. Then, he looks for Brate in the end zone but the pass falls incomplete. However, that'll be a defensive pass interference call on KC's Juan Thornhill to move it down to the 1-yard line.
9:49 p.m. — Bad news for the Chiefs' defense: safety Justin Reid just had to come off the field with an injury. He was able to walk off the field under his own power.
9:44 p.m. — On the ensuing play, Brady finds Julio Jones to pick up the first down. He then hits Chris Godwin for another nice gain and the Bucs use a timeout to stop the clock. With 46 seconds left in the half, the ball is on the KC 41-yard line.
9:42 p.m. — Really sloppy penalty by Tampa's offense on 3rd down. Brate took a big hit on the previous play and had to head off the field, but the ball was snapped before he reached the sideline. That turns a 3rd and 1 into a 3rd and 5.
9:37 p.m. TWO-MINUTE WARNING — That was a killer turnover for the Bucs. To make matters worse, Brady went to the sideline grabbing his right shoulder after that lost fumble and does not look 100 percent out there. He's back in the game now, but it's worth keeping an eye out to see if he's picked up an injury.
Chiefs 28, Buccaneers 10
9:33 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — What a clever play design by Andy Reid! Mahomes lines up in the shotgun, shouting and pointing as if he's making pre-snap adjustments. Then, tight end Noah Gray sneaks in behind center to take the snap and power it into the end zone.

9:31 p.m. — On 3rd and 7, Mahomes uses his legs once again to pick up the first down.
9:28 p.m. FUMBLE — Just when it seemed like Tampa had some momentum, they turn it right back over. L'Jarius Sneed sacks Brady from behind and knocks the ball free, and Chris Jones jumps on top of the loose ball. Kansas City has the football right back in the red zone.

9:25 p.m. TURNOVER ON DOWNS — There's the stop the Bucs desperately needed. On 4th and 1, Mahomes tosses to Edwards-Helaire but he can't haul it in. Brady and the offense will take over from their own 34-yard line.
9:23 p.m. — Finally, Tampa gets a stop on 3rd down as they stuff Jerick McKinnon on a run up the middle. Andy Reid is keeping his offense on the field, however...
9:20 p.m. — They got a score, now the Bucs need a stop. They have a chance to get off the field on 3rd and 3, but Kelce delivers yet again with a catch to move the chains. The Chiefs are now 6 for 6 on 3rd down conversions in this game.
Chiefs 21, Buccaneers 10
9:14 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — The Bucs respond quickly. HUGE drive there. Brady zips it to Evans, who takes a hit but hangs on for his 2nd touchdown of the year. Evans missed out due to suspension against the Packers last week, but he's returned with a bang.

9:12 p.m. — That's a start. Brady finds Mike Evans deep down the middle for a 30-yard pickup.
9:11 p.m. — The Buccaneers need to get it together, and fast. This game is already in danger of turning into a blowout and we're just a few minutes into the second quarter.
Chiefs 21, Buccaneers 3
9:08 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — SPECTACULAR. Mahomes makes more magic, escaping a sack in the backfield before spinning past another defender and floating it into the end zone for Edwards-Helaire. The Kansas City QB has been utterly unstoppable so far tonight,

9:02 p.m. — Kansas City faces 3rd and 2 to start the second quarter, and they convert once again on a Mahomes scramble. They're 4 for 4 tonight on 3rd down conversions.
End of first quarter: Chiefs 14, Buccaneers 3
8:56 p.m. — Travis Kelce fantasy owners are thrilled right now. Another catch for him takes his receiving total up to 5 catches for 53 yards and a touchdown already as the first quarter winds down.
8:52 p.m. — Fournette gets stuffed on 1st down, then Brady throws incomplete. On 3rd and 12, Russell Gage makes the grab and gets close to the marker, but still a couple yards short. That's a three-and-out for the Bucs and they'll punt it away.
Chiefs 14, Buccaneers 3
8:47 p.m. TOUCHDOWN — After a Mahomes keeper moves it down to near the goal line, Clyde Edwards-Helaire shows great effort to push the pile into the end zone. Two drives, two touchdowns so far for Kansas City.

8:46 p.m. — The Bucs force another 3rd down, but the Chiefs convert yet again on a 20-yard scamper by Clyde Edwards-Helaire to move into the red zone.
8:44 p.m. — A pair of incompletions brings up 3rd and 10, but Mahomes drops back and finds Kelce again for another first down. Seems like Andy Reid came in wanting to air it out early and often tonight.
8:41 p.m. — Fantastic play by Mahomes. On 3rd and 1, it looks like he's getting wrapped up for a sack but he somehow gets rid of it and finds JuJu Smith-Schuster to move the chains.

8:34 p.m. FIELD GOAL — Ryan Succop knocks it through from 45 yards out to put the Bucs on the board.
8:32 p.m. — Fournette gets stuffed for a loss on 1st down. A Brady pass to Chris Godwin brings up 3rd and 4, but Fournette can't find room on a 3rd down catch and Tampa will try a field goal.
8:30 p.m. — Leonard Fournette rips off a big run after catch on 2nd down to move the ball across midfield. On the next play, Brady tosses to Cameron Brate to get it into field goal range.
8:28 p.m. — Well, Brady and Co. will actually get the ball now. White bravely goes for another return but hangs onto it this time.
Chiefs 7, Buccaneers 0
