Patrick Mahomes has been a staple of State Farm commercials for a few years now. He's long been trying to get the "Patrick Price" and is always shocked to learn the good deals are for everyone.
His coach is now trying to test that theory. Andy Reid appeared in one of State Farm's most recent ads as he, too, vied for the personal price plan.
In the new ad, Reid confesses to drawing fake mustaches on players while they're asleep. He's then shocked to learn that the personal price plan is for everyone, and has to throw his marker away as Mahomes comes out with a drawn-on mustache of his own.

Why Andy Reid appeared in State Farm ad
Mahomes has been in plenty of State Farm commercials. From shoes to bath bombs, he has done it all to highlight the great rates Jake from State Farm has to offer.
The Chiefs quarterback explained that he was asked about the possibility of including Reid, the 64-year-old Kansas City coach of the past 10 years, in one of the ads.
"I was like, 'Man, I'll ask him, but I just don't know if he'll do it," Mahomes said on "The Drive" on KCSP. "And when I asked him, he asked me, he's like, 'Hey, do you want me to?' And I was like, 'Yeah, I think it would be cool. People will be able to see your personality on a different level, a different scale.'"

Mahomes said when Reid arrived to film the commercial, he "crushed it."
"He's a natural at that type of stuff, whenever he just lets his personality show and he kinda relaxes," Mahomes said. "You don't see that mean coach Reid, you see how much personality he has and I think it's probably my best commercial yet and I think he kinda stole the show and kinda was the main guy."
Reid said at a press conference that he enjoyed getting to see how Mahomes was treated on set and to see how the production for those commercials work. He explained Mahomes was helpful in explaining how everything works to put the commercials together.
"Pat asked if I would do it with him and I told him, 'I'm not very good at that stuff,' as you guys know doing these [press conferences], but listen, it was a fun thing," Reid said. "It's quite interesting. Great people involved there. They obviously reached out and talked to me about it and knowing that I wasn't real comfortable doing those kinds of things, but they made it as comfortable as possible."

Mahomes isn't done with bringing on fellow members of the Chiefs to appear in commercials. He said he's in a commercial with tight end Travis Kelce now, and he might not be done. And Reid could still appear in some more.
"I always have interest in bringing on my teammates and coaches into all the stuff I do outside of football, but we'll see if we can kind of get Coach Reid into some different stuff," Mahomes said. "I don't know how much more he'll want to do, but it's definitely cool to have him in one."
