The Chicago Bears' No. 1 overall pick and quarterback Caleb Williams projects to be a very good football player at the next level, but if his baseball swing is any indication, he'd need some work if he wants to change sports.
Williams was in attendance for a Chicago Cubs game on Saturday and took some swings in the batting cage before the game. If we didn't know any better, we wouldn't peg Williams as any kind of an athlete based on his swing.
But that's often the affect baseball can have on athletes who play other sports. It's just one of those things, mostly because swinging a bat is about form, which can take a ton of practice to get right.
WOW…#Bears QB Caleb Williams attempting to swing a baseball bat is a sight to see.

Not to get all Little League coach on Williams, but he's got to bring that elbow up, lift his front foot and load up on it more. One thing Williams did get mostly right was turning his back foot during the swing.
Thankfully, the Bears aren't paying Williams to play baseball, so this means very little. Even still, the video went viral on social media and Williams saw plenty of jokes at his expense. Check out the reactions below.

Idk, I saw a recent video of Caleb Williams hitting off of a tee. It wasn’t pretty. Then again he doesn’t play baseball but I’ve seen better swings from 10 year olds
