Chiefs running back Charcandrick West suffered a hamstring injury during the second half of a blowout 33-3 win over the Chargers on Sunday and is considered day to day, according to coach Andy Reid.
West headed to the sideline following a 1-yard reception with 11:23 remaining in the third quarter and was being looked at by trainers. He did not return to the game, finishing with 64 total yards on 13 touches.

Reid told reporters after the game that West's injury is only a strain.
Second-year running back Spencer Ware, who started the season on the Chiefs' practice squad, replaced West, rushing for 96 yards and a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns on 11 carries.
West has filled in admirably since Jamaal Charles went down with a season-ending knee injury in Week 6. He had four touchdowns in three starts before Sunday, and has become an integral part of the Chiefs' offense during their four-game winning streak.
It's too early to determine whether West will miss any time. He'll have a full week to recover before the Chiefs host the Bills next weekend.
Kansas City also went without Jeremy Maclin, who took a hit to the head and went through concussion protocol. Maclin said after the game he expects to be fine.
