Quarterback Chad Henne will remain in Jacksonville for the next couple of years.
Blake Bortles' backup signed a two-year, $8 million contract, the team announced Thursday.

Henne, 30, didn't play last season, though he did start the first three games of the 2014 season until Bortles took over.
The extension is likely Henne's best bet to stay in the NFL. Since his stint with the Jaguars began in 2012, he has started 22 games and thrown 27 touchdowns to 26 interceptions.
Henne was drafted by the Dolphins in 2008 as a second-round pick out of Michigan.
