Bruce Arians, Larry Fitzgerald, irked by opposing fans, scorn Cardinals faithful image

Arizona’s large transplant population is often reflected at Cardinals home games by the number of folks wearing opponents gear.

That doesn’t sit well with Bruce Arians and Larry Fitzgerald.

"It drives me crazy that, after two (great) years, we come into a game with a 10-2 record and an opportunity to close out the division, and we still have 20,000 Vikings fans in the stadium," Fitzgerald told the Arizona Republic, referring to last week’s game against Minnesota. "That irks me.”

The Republic noted the Cardinals have sold out every home game since 2006.

"It's going to take a little more time to stop seeing waves and just complete sections of the visiting team where you normally see Cardinal fans," Arians told KTAR-AM in Arizona (via CBS Sports). "I don't give a (s—t) how much you get for your tickets, it ain't worth it [to sell them].”

An 11-2 start and possible homefield advantage in the playoffs is a good way to get the natives excited.
