Cam Newton — He Who Must Be Hot Take'd — is at it again, spitting in the face of the law as he scaled a school playground's fence on Friday, according to a damning report out of Davidson, N.C., from WSOC-TV.
The miscreant, oft seen masquerading as the Panthers quarterback when he isn't murdering the sanctity of the news conference, had the nerve to risk health and trespassing charges. Why? To play with some adorable kids. AKA to be a monster.

According to WSOC, Newton asked permission to hop the fence and toss football with seventh graders at the Community School of Davidson — a school located 21 miles due north from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. And the kids loved every second of it.

One teacher, a Ms. Mimi Siadak, reported that she saw one girl "crying and hyperventilating." And to the dismay of hot take artists nationwide, it wasn't because Newton offended her with his sweet smile and kid-like spirit. Or because she had to do the dab months removed from its peak relevancy. Quite the opposite.
"That was just the best moment of my life," she said.
After the adorable endeavor, some of the kids wrote thank you notes to Newton. One of those notes, via WSOC:
"I am in a hard place in my life, because my parents are getting divorced. But to me you are now a symbol of hope and that even when things go bad there is always happiness."
Predictably, Newton finished the pick-up game without even offering a conference to the media. Maybe one day he'll get this whole being a leader thing right.
