The Buffalo Bills head into the 2024 NFL Draft needing some reinforcements to keep their Super Bowl hopes alive.
The Bills season, of course, ended in heartbreaking fashion last year, with a 27-24 home loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional round.
Following an offseason in which some major talent went out the door, the Bills will likely be looking for some rookies who can make an impact this season.

Bills NFL Draft needs
- Wide receiver: After trading Stefon Diggs to the Texans and letting Gabriel Davis join the Jaguars in free agency, the Bills needs talent and depth. Perhaps they are looking at how the Chiefs won a Super Bowl without a No. 1 receiver, but the Chiefs also have Travis Kelce. The Bills did Curtis Samuel in free agency, but they should be looking at an outside receiver who could fit well with Josh Allen’s big arm.
- Defensive end: The Bills also let Leonard Floyd leave in free agency, losing their sacks leader from 2023. No one on the roster finished with double-digit sacks last year, so Buffalo may need to juice its pass-rush through the draft. The Bills haven’t selected a defensive end in the draft since 2021.
- Safety: The Bills cut veteran safety Jordan Poyer because of a cap crunch this offseason. The Bills only have four safeties under contract, including Damar Hamlin, who hardly played in 2023. Buffalo could use depth at the position.
