The Browns have a schedule in 2019 that is favorable enough for the playoffs to be the expectation in Cleveland heading into the regular season.
The excitement level around the 2019 Browns is already off the charts after the addition of wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to a roster built around former No. 1 picks Baker Mayfield and Myles Garrett. Cleveland general manager John Dorsey chose first-year coach Freddie Kitchens to build on the momentum from last year's 7-8-1 season.

Toughest tests: New England was the only undefeated team at home in the NFL last season. In beating the Patriots on the road, the Browns could not make a bigger statement with any single game on their schedule.
Last season, Cleveland lost at Baltimore and Pittsburgh in games where Mayfield threw five TDs and four interceptions. The Browns will have a lot of sky miles with trips to Denver, San Francisco and Arizona, too, which will be challenging.
Biggest breaks: Cleveland gets the two toughest NFC West teams at home in the Seahawks and Rams, and the Browns won both home games against NFC opponents last season. Tennessee, Miami and Buffalo were a combined 6-17 on the road last season. If the Browns take care of business in those three games, then they will be in the playoff hunt.
Bottom line: Cleveland has not won 10 games in a season since 2007, a year in which the Browns barely missed the playoffs. Cleveland finished 9-7 in 2002 when it last made the postseason. This team is capable of that type of season, but it still rests on the Browns' success in the AFC North.
Cleveland was 3-2-1 in the division last year, and that included a season sweep of in-state rival Cincinnati. Pittsburgh and Baltimore are not going to hand over the division; it's on Cleveland to take it, and they are capable. Record prediction: 10-6
