Josh Gordon claims he has grown a lot over the past year.

The Browns receiver was reinstated after a season-long ban from the NFL, and he is now ready to put his best foot forward.
"I definitely think I'm a different person," Gordon said, via ESPN.com. "If you haven't changed over a period of time, that's a bad thing. I think me standing here is a testament to that. Most people might not see it that way. That just comes with the territory of me being who I am, considering my past."
Perhaps another reason Gordon is willing to turn his life around is the dismissal of Johnny Manziel, whose off-field party antics proved to be too much for the Browns. Combined with the acquisition for Gordon's good friend Robert Griffin III, maybe Gordon realized there is more to life than booze and clubs.
"(Griffin is) the reason why I committed to Baylor in 2009," Gordon said. "That's one of my best friends. It's not a mistake that my locker is next to his. He looks out for me as part of my support staff I've been mentioning. Guys I know I can lean on. I know he's a big brother in that regard."

Gordon's partying lifestyle caught up with him when he tested positive for alcohol, resulting in being banned for the entire 2015 season. He was also suspended for two games in 2013 and 10 games in 2014 for violating the league's substance abuse policy.
Gordon declined to say whether he went to rehab for his issues, but said the support of the Browns made him want to improve his life off the field.
"I want to buy into an organization, a loving, caring, providing facility," Gordon said. "And people here that want to do the most that they can, to do everything that they can to help us. Which they were trying to tell us today."
