Andy Moeller, the second-year Browns offensive line coach, won’t face charges for allegedly assaulting a woman earlier this month, according to ESPN.com.
In a 911 call on Sept. 5, a woman claiming to be Moeller’s fiancee said Moeller tried to strangle her.

Berea (Ohio) prosecutor Jim Walters wrote: "(I)t is quite clear that an incident of a volatile nature took place between Mr. Moeller and (the accuser) on the evening of the call but what is less clear is the exact nature of the incident and the actions of the two persons involved."
Walters said alcohol played a part in the incident after Moeller and the accuser attended an Octoberfest event. Walters said the two sides had very different versions of the story, and that he decided not to pursue charges because "beyond a reasonable doubt" is in doubt.
Moeller was suspended indefinitely by the Browns.
