Denver doesn't plan on dealing any players amid its underwhelming start to the 2019 season.
The Broncos have kicked the year off 1-4, but general manager John Elway has denied the team intends to trade good players — including Von Miller, Emmanuel Sanders, and Chris Harris — for assets.
"You guys bring up all those names. I have not brought up any names," Elway told reporters Friday. "We're trying to win football games, so no one on our side is on the trading block. We're going to try to continue to win football games."
Elway, a former Denver quarterback, has been the team's general manager since 2011. But its success has waned since it won Super Bowl 50 in 2015.
The Broncos have missed the postseason in three consecutive years, going 20-28 in that stretch. Right now it appears like they won't make the postseason for a fourth straight time.
Nevertheless, they seem determined to make a comeback after their slow start.
Denver will host the Titans (2-3) Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.
