There's no need to kick a man while he's down. Unless you're the man, and the kicker.
Broncos kicker Brandon McManus accomplished something for the first time in his career on Sunday, missing two extra points in Denver's matchup with the Panthers. Some were left scratching their heads over McManus' performance, including the kicker himself.

McManus, apparently, is his own harshest critic, taking to the tweet machine after the game to offer some short, quick, harsh insight on his kicking performance.
Brandon McManus sucked today

Not to be outdone by McManus, McManus sent another tweet affirming that he is, indeed, the real McCoy McManus.

McManus has never missed more than one extra point in a season in his career, and with his two misses this Sunday he has three missed PATs in 2020. That's a slightly concerning trend, especially this late in the season, but nothing to sound the alarm bells about yet. He didn't attempt a kick on Sunday.
The good news for McManus and the Broncos is that they escaped with a 32-27 win over the Panthers in Carolina, pushing the Broncos to 5-8 on the season. While the Broncos aren't mathematically eliminated from the playoffs yet, they won't be able to afford another loss this season — and it surely can't come from McManus' missed kicks.
