The Athletic's Josh Kendall reported on a quote from third-round rookie for the Atlanta Falcons, Bralen Trice that will have Falcons fans chomping at the bit for the 2024 season to get started.
"My mindset is it's a dog eat dog world. It's a cold world, and you're standing in front of me and my food and my money, and I have to go through you. That's my mindset."
There will be plenty of fans who will say that's all well and good, but these are just words, where is the action?
According to PFF, Trice's 149 pressures were the most of any player in the country since 2022.
To be an elite pass rusher, that player needs a superpower. For Las Vegas Raiders' Maxx Crosby, one of his superpowers is his relentless motor. Trice says that when he is in the film room, Crosby is the person he watches because of that motor. When watching Trice on film, that motor is on full display.

Could Trice become that tier of pass rusher? It's possible. For now, Falcons fans are just hoping for another season with double-digit sacks. They've been deprived of that since 2016.
