The Los Angeles Rams had a rather eventful offseason, with the retirement of Aaron Donald and the addition of several key free agents. The team even made their first selection in the first round since 2016 this offseason, drafting Florida State pass rusher Jared Verse.
However, none of those moves gave the Rams their most dangerous addition this offseason. That honor would go to one of the team's two third-round picks.
Bleacher Report's Ryan Fowler named Michigan RB Blake Corum the Rams' most dangerous addition during the 2024 offseason.
"Seeing how Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay has utilized running back Kyren Williams should get fans excited for the potential of rookie running back Blake Corum. While Corum doesn't have elite size or long speed, the reigning national champion is a fleet-footed ball-carrier with the contact balance and elite vision to challenge for carries in L.A. Fellow rookie edge-rusher Jared Verse and 3-technique Braden Fiske should make an early impact with the Rams as well."
Out of all of their additions, Corum earning this nod was a bit of a surprise. However, this speaks to the quality of the player the Rams selected this past year. With Kyren Williams continuing to battle injuries, Corum could be in line to steal a significant work load as a rookie. Corum's natural rushing ability and fit in Sean McVay's offense could make him a steal that late in the draft.
