Rex Ryan's job was reportedly in jeopardy even before the Bills' brutal loss to the Steelers Sunday in Orchard Park.
But when someone asked Ryan after the game if he thought he should be retained as coach, he gave a predictable, and typically colorful, Rex Ryan answer.
"What do you think I'm going to say? You're dang right I do," Ryan said, via The Associated Press. "It hasn't gone exactly the way I wanted it to go, that's obvious. But we have three games left and we'll try to win every one of them."

After running back LeVeon Bell racked up 298 total yards, and the Steelers rolled to a 27-20 win that was not nearly as close as the final score indicated, those rumors about Ryan's future will reach fever pitch in the Buffalo area.
With the Bills now 6-7 and fighting for their playoff lives, Ryan appears on the way out the door. The Buffalo News reported after the game that, "Owners Terry and Kim Pegula have decided to fire their head coach. It’s no longer a question of whether Ryan will get the heave ho, but when."
"When" could come as early as Monday morning, CBS Sports reported early Sunday.
STEELE: Leave Rex alone
Ryan went on to say Sunday's loss was a team effort.
"I'm saying as a football team we failed," Ryan said. "We lost games. But you're never going to say it's just the defense or it's this side of the ball or whatever. It wasn't good enough on either side of the ball today."
Ryan is 14-15 in his two seasons in Buffalo.
