The Jets are having one of their best seasons in recent memory, but the Bills are still favored by nearly two touchdowns on the road in this Week 9 matchup. That's how dominant Buffalo has looked early in the season.

At 6-1, the Bills are better positioned than any team to be the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Josh Allen admitted he didn't play his best in Week 8, but Buffalo still coasted past Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to extend its win streak to four.

The Bills will now attempt to earn their first AFC East win of the season after suffering their only loss against the Dolphins in Week 3.

The Jets also find themselves in playoff position entering Week 9, which is a success in itself, but they're at risk of dropping back-to-back games for the first time this season. After season-ending injuries to Breece Hall and Alijah Vera-Tucker dealt a blow to the offense after Week 7, the Jets fell to the Patriots in a game that saw Zach Wilson make far too many mistakes.

New York's defense continues to play well, but Wilson will have to be at his best if the Jets want to stay competitive with the Bills in the final game before their bye. A loss to Buffalo could drop the Jets into a tie for last in the AFC East.
