The Chiefs will likely look a bit different than the last time these squads met. Safety Mike Edwards left Kansas City for Buffalo (ironically), Willie Gay departed for New Orleans and perhaps most notably, star corner L'Jarius Sneed is now in Tennessee. Additionally, second-year wideout Rashee Rice could face discipline for his role in an offseason hit-and-run accident.
Still, Sporting News NFL expert Vinnie Iyer says "Kansas City remains the team to beat," citing the Chiefs' speedy wide-receiver acquisitions of veteran Marquise Brown and first-round rookie Xavier Worthy. While K.C. headlines Iyer's power rankings, Buffalo sits at the tail-end of the top 10.
