A win is a win, even if it’s a one-point victory against a 1-3 team with a rookie quarterback. Bills coach Rex Ryan said following Sunday’s 14-13 win at Tennessee that he’ll “take it.”

“After watching the video, we still won, barely,” Ryan added Monday. “Man, oh man, you give that team credit. … We’re fortunate enough that we made enough plays at the end there to win the game and we deserved it. It wasn’t pretty, but I thought we deserved it.”

… If Titans receiver Kendall Wright was the first option on Marcus Mariota’s late interception, it’s news to him.

“I can't remember the last time I was the primary option on anything."

… The Titans are 1-3 and on the cusp of being a good team, but coach Ken Whisenhunt realizes moral victories don’t count.

“We're close. But close and $4 will get you a cup of coffee. We need a win.”

… Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers on the end of his 19-game interception-free streak at Lambeau Field: "I figured I might as well break the streak with a couple of interceptions. Streaks are meant to be broken."

... Raiders cornerback Charles Woodson intercepted Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning twice on Sunday, joking that Manning had eluded him for 18 years. Manning had quite the appropriate response.

"Well, it’s taken him 18 years. He’s a great player. It offsets the two touchdowns we threw on him last year. I think we’ll call it a wash, right?"

… According to teammates after their 39-17 demolition of the Saints, Sam Bradford got the Eagles going with a motivational pregame speech.

“He said, ‘It’s time to go. We have the talent, we have the ability, it’s just a matter of going out there and getting it done,’” offensive tackle Lane Johnson told reporters.

… Saints quarterback Drew Brees was not trying to make excuses following the loss to the Eagles.

“I don't want to hear anything about youth. I don't want to hear anything about talent. I don't want to hear anything about anything other than what we have to do to win the game.”

… Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was benched Sunday after three interceptions, but coach Jim Caldwell said Monday there is no quarterback controversy in Detroit.

"Really, it's like a pitcher not having a very good day. The pitcher comes out and the pitcher obviously, he's still the starter. He's still our starter, so there'll be no issues there.”

… Browns quarterback Josh McCown doesn’t have a big head after throwing for a franchise-record 457 yards in Sunday’s win over the Ravens.

“This my 14th year professionally, 13th year in the NFL — I played in the UFL , for crying out loud, so personal satisfaction kind of flew out the window.”

... The Cowboys have some issues at quarterback while waiting for Tony Romo to return from a broken collarbone. The Cowboys have lost three straight with Brandon Weeden at the helm and coach Jason Garrett would "be comfortable" turning the ball offense over to Matt Cassel.

“He’s worked hard, he’s a veteran player, he’s a smart guy, he’s been here for a little bit," Garrett said of Cassel on Monday. "There are always levels of knowing something. The more you’re around something the more experienced you are with the people doing it together, the better you’re going to be at it. But he’s certainly comfortable with our system.”

... Steelers quarterback Michael Vick struggled for most of the game Monday night, but said injured starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is the one who designed his 72-yard touchdown pass to Markus Wheaton.

"Ben put the the play together," Vick told NFL Network. "He drew it up on the sideline."
