One Detroit Lions fans recently had a difficult decision to make: take off his jersey in order to take a photo with Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, or keep the jersey on and don't take the photo.
The Lions fan was wearing the jersey of wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown when he went to take a photo with Chase, but the Bengals star receiver stepped aside and told him he had to take it off in order to take the picture with him.
The Lions fan eventually obliged and got the photo with Chase. Here's a look at the interaction between the two before the picture was taken.
A lot of fans would say that the Lions fan should have stood on principle, but that's a tough spot to be in. Chase later took to social media, saying "It's all love bro next time have that UNO on!"
But there's a happy ending to this story. St. Brown also took to social media after the clip went viral and asked the fan to send him the jersey so he can sign it.
"Send that jersey to me. I got you bro," St. Brown said on his Instagram story, before revealing he sent the fan a different jersey, complete with his autograph.
As if we needed another reason to love St. Brown, he just gave us one.
