All is not lost, Bengals fans.
Despite seeing running back Giovani Bernard go out for the season with a torn ACL in a 16-12 loss to the Bills, there remains optimism for five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Green, who reportedly suffered a "significant" tear in his hamstring, to return before the end of the season.
Green was hit by Bills cornerback Stephon Gilmore after a pass sailed over his head. As Green fell to the turf at Paul Brown Stadium, he immediately grabbed the back of his right leg. Green was carted off the field, and NFL Media reported the prognosis was "not good."

Despite the reports, coach Marvin Lewis said in Monday's press conference that Green is moving better than expected after the injury and Lewis hopes to have him back although Green has already been ruled out of Sunday's matchup with the Ravens.
Green's backups will be Brandon LaFell and rookie Tyler Boyd. LaFell saw nine targets (team high) Sunday and finished with four receptions for 32 yards. Boyd saw eight targets and had six catches for 54 yards and a touchdown.
Cincinnati is 1-3-1 without Green since he entered the NFL in 2011.
