Spoiler alert! It appears like the Bears' designs for their new throwback uniforms might have leaked early.
Chicago is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2019 and will be commemorating the occasion in a special way. The Bears will wear a new throwback uniform this season, which was originally going to be unveiled Friday.
However, someone didn't get that memo.
Over the weekend, a fan spotted an unfamiliar jersey at a local Dick's Sporting Goods store and shared a picture of it on Twitter saying, "possible leak of the bears alternate for this year?"

The fan's assumption isn't far off reports of what could be in store this year.
The "new" throwback jersey is identical to the top worn during the 1936 season, with stripes on the shoulders and sleeves. It's something coach Matt Nagy is a big fan of.
"I love the stripes," Nagy said at the NFL owners meetings in March. "I love the stripes that we have. I want stripes everywhere."

The 100th anniversary jersey will be one of four uniforms the Bears will wear this season.
Chicago will also sport its traditional navy uniform and white uniform, as well as an orange jersey.
The threads were finally revealed Friday.
