According to NFL Media, Shaw suffered a broken leg just above his ankle. He'll undergo further tests at a local hospital to determine severity of the injury before undergoing surgery as soon as Saturday night.
Shaw, who was cut by the Browns earlier this offseason, completed five of his six pass attempts for 68 yards and Chicago's only touchdown before the injury.
Bears cornerback Tracy Porter also left the game early with a concussion. The Bears lost to the Chiefs 23-7.
