The Atlanta Falcons select Georgia's Zion Logue with the 197th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Falcons usually bring in at least one Georgia Bulldog per draft and they find theirs in the 6'6" and 314-pound run-stuffer.
Along the line, there was a glaring need for someone to play that nose tackle position. While Grady Jarrett and David Onyemata would be able to, you'd rather them play at the three-tech and five-tech positions. Logue comes in and can use his 300+ pounds to help him stuff gaps and potentially push the pocket.
This is around the time where the Falcons can start making bets on players and hope they can develop into long-time rotational players on the roster.
