TickPick reports that the Atlanta Falcons ticket prices have increased at an astonishing rate amid an exciting off-season. According to TickPick, the Falcons' ticket prices rose 35% from 2023 to 2024:
- 2023: $185
- 2024: $250
The Falcons are the fifth-highest increase or decrease in price from year to year, behind the Houston Texans (99% increase), Detroit Lions (68% increase), New England Patriots (45% decrease) and the Indianapolis Colts (42% increase).
Atlanta's off-season was certainly transformational and one to be excited about. They brought the organization's first black head coach, Raheem Morris, to pair with the first black General Manager, Terry Fontenot. They then make the biggest signing of free agency, securing quarterback Kirk Cousins to play in New offensive coordinator Zac Robinson's offense, which projects to be similar to a Sean McVay/Kyle Shanahan offense, the likes of which he's been in for the past two years under Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell and started his career in 2012, being drafted by Mike Shanahan's Washington Redskins.
The overhaul of the offensive weaponry to enhance the speed aspect of the offense by bringing in receivers Darnell Mooney and Rondale Moore is a testament to the modernization of Atlanta's offensive philosophy. Even bringing in rookie Michael Penix, Jr. to sit behind Cousins for the first few years of his career can be seen as an exciting move, with this regime showing confidence that they can keep this high level of play going for a decade or longer.
There is plenty to be excited about as we are mere weeks away from training camp starting, and the Falcons' ticket increase shouldn't stop Mercedes-Benz Stadium from continuing to rock through early January and possibly beyond.
