NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the tampering investigations for the Atlanta Falcons and Philadelphia Eagles is "still ongoing and will not conclude this week."
There were rumblings that the investigation could conclude "as early as this week" and a penalty for tampering would undoubtedly impact Thursday's draft.
With the new development, the Falcons and Eagles can approach the draft as planned and worry about the results of the investigation as it pertains to future draft capital.
Currently, Atlanta has all of their draft picks for 2025 outside of their sixth-round pick (given to the Los Angeles Rams in the Van Jefferson trade) and their seventh-round pick (given to the Philadelphia Eagles for Kentavius Street). They possess all of their 2026 draft capital.
