According to OnTexasFootball's CJ Vogel, the Atlanta Falcons signed Texas punter Ryan Sanborn to become an undrafted free agent. The Falcons are looking to continue to build up their special teams unit and that could mean signing Sanborn to become the next punter for the Falcons.
Sanborn averaged 45.7 yards per punt, the seventh-best single-season average in program history, according to Texas' official website. Sanborn was a 2023 All-Big 12 honorable mention.
The field-flipping Sanborn could earn a job by beating out Falcons punter Bradley Pinion, who had the sixth-best touchback percentage last season (4%).
