Last season, under defensive coordinator Ryan Nielsen, longtime Atlanta Falcons defensive lineman Grady Jarrett was given some of his best running mates on the defensive line, including interior defensive lineman David Onyemata and veterans Calais Campbell and Bud Dupree. Nielsen is now defensive coordinator in Jacksonville, Bud Dupree took his talents to the Los Angeles Chargers and Calais Campbell has yet to sign somewhere. Unfortunately, Jarrett was only able to share in the riches of the talent around him for eight games before he suffered a season-ending knee injury that ended his 2023.

Now, Jarrett is ready to contribute under new head coach Raheem Morris and defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake. And he wanted the fans to know it.

Morris has already compared Jarrett's potential impact with that of future Hall of Famer Aaron Donald because of his versatility across the line of scrimmage. The four draftees from the 2024 NFL draft and keeping guys like Onyemata, Kentavius Street and LaCale London will help keep Jarrett fresh and available to have the best season of his career.
