According to KPRC2 Houston's Aaron Wilson, the Atlanta Falcons signed North Dakota State cornerback Jayden Price to become an undrafted free agent. The deal includes a $10,000 signing bonus.
Price looks to be another attempt at finding core special teamers for this roster, as they navigate building the roster for head coach Raheem Morris. Price is a return specialist who has averaged 12.8 yards per punt return and had five punt return touchdowns over his five years as a Bison.
Atlanta continues to make dart throws at configuring the special teams units as the rules evolve. While Price won't be expected to make contributions on defense any time soon, he did add three interceptions in his career, including two in 2023.
You’re seeing how vital special teams has been in the #UFL, on Day 3 of the #NFLDraft & w/UDFAs is where you want to find those types of guys.
