The Atlanta Falcons select Oregon's Brandon Dorlus with the 109th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. After two picks on day two meant to solidify the defensive line, the Falcons return to the well on day three with Dorlus.
Yesterday, when Terry Fontenot and Raheem Morris were speaking about Ruke Orhorhoro and Bralen Trice, there was one factor that they continued to highlight: Versatility. Nobody in this draft personifies versatility along the line than Brandon Dorlus.
At 6'3" and 283 pounds, Dorlus fell to 109 because of the questions about where he would be best slotted. However, with his impressive movement skills at his weight mixed with his heavy hands, Dorlus will be a fun inside-outside player for the Falcons to start day three. Being able to learn from Grady Jarrett for the next few years is an extra plus.
