Nobody's having a better week than Seattle Seahawks safety Julian Love. The same day that he signed a three-year contract extension worth up to $36 million he nabbed an interception at practice.
After it was over, Love spoke with the local media and commented on his new deal and how he fits into the organization's long-term plans. Here's a clip of Love talking about his big payday.

Love was also complimentary of his teammates on both sides of the ball. Here's Love praising what he has seen from offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb and quarterback Geno Smith, who he says is dialed in.

Love also likes how the new-look safety room has performed thus far at training camp. He has been partiularly impressed by Rayshawn Jenkins and Coby Bryant.

Love is now under contract through the 2027 season, which makes him a foundational piece on defense to build around in the first years of the Mike Macdonald era.
