Antonio Brown takes questions on Twitter, says he apologized to Patriots image

Antonio Brown went on a long Twitter rant early Friday morning as he participated in a Q&A, expressing frustration with his current NFL situation.

Here's a look at the receiver's most notable responses:

Brown said he apologized to the Patriots and owner Robert Kraft, though he implied New England only wanted to create "media hype" to bring him down.

The receiver claimed Patriots trainers stole the football he scored a touchdown with in his first game with New England, adding they have "so much jealousy."

Brown revealed that he would be interested in joining the 49ers, but said they "denied greatness."

When one Twitter user suggested Brown should only come back to the NFL if he plays for the Ravens, Brown entertained the idea with a popcorn emoji.

He also offered an explanation as to why it didn't work out for him in Oakland.

Asked when he'll come back to the league, Brown wrote: "U see how they doing me y play with that."

The rant comes just a day after Brown reportedly deleted a tweet that said, "Woke up feeling blackballed."

Brown was released by New England just 11 days into his deal on Sept. 20. He was accused by his former trainer, Britney Taylor, of sexual assault and rape in a civil lawsuit last month. She claimed the receiver assaulted her twice in 2017 and raped her in 2018.

A second unidentified woman has also made allegations of sexual misconduct against the receiver, and Brown's release from the Patriots came after he sent sent threatening text messages to her.

Brown has strongly denied the allegations through his attorney. The NFL is investigating the claims, though ProFootballTalk.com reported the NFL has yet to interview Brown.

His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said earlier this week he "fully expects" the receiver to be back with a team this season.

“I do expect Antonio to play again this season,” Rosenhaus said during an appearance on CNBC’s “Squawk Alley”. “Hopefully we will get the NFL investigation behind him in the near future and he can sign with a new team.”
