Not long ago, former Pittsburgh Steelers Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown were two of the best players in the NFL. But on Saturday night, they got together for a very different reason.
Bell, who has taken to boxing after the seeming end to his NFL career, took part in his fourth match on Saturday night, taking on Canadian influencer-turned-boxer Tristan Hamm at the MF & DAZN: X Series.
Before the match, Bell and Brown reunited, with the latter walking the former out to the ring. Just in case you were wondering, Bell did win the match against Hamm via unanimous decision.

Bell was a second-round pick of the Steelers in 2013, while Brown was taken in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Over their respective tenures in Pittsburgh, both were considered one of, if not the best players at their respective positions.
Unfortunately, both had an equally ugly ending in Pittsburgh.
Bell sat out the 2018 season over a contract dispute and went on to sign with the New York Jets the following season. Brown forced a trade following the 2018 season and landed with the Raiders.

Another thing both former Steelers have in common is their careers were never the same after leaving Pittsburgh.
Brown never played a snap for the Raiders and also spent time with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He did win a Super Bowl with the latter in 2020 but never sniffed the kind of production he enjoyed with the Steelers. Bell was a major disappointment with the Jets and had unsuccessful stints with the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens and Bucs, too.
