Antonio Brown wasted no time Saturday sharing news of his stunning deal with the New England Patriots.
Just hours after news broke that the wide receiver reportedly signed a one-year deal with the reigning Super Bowl champions, Brown posted a cartoon image of himself on Instagram.
The cartoon shows Brown in a Patriots uniform sitting on a huge pile of cash. He's holding a phone in one hand and a wad of $100 bills in the other hand. Behind Brown in neon lights is a sign reading, "Business is boomin."
Brown was busy on social media Saturday. After the Raiders released him, he posted a YouTube video showing him receiving the news, then running around his backyard flapping his arms like a bird and exclaiming, "I'm free!"
Brown tagged the video with a message: "In this crazy world I have to surround myself with winners. People who protect me. People that in just as much work as me. People who respect me as a human. Time to show out!"
The Patriots have not announced the deal with Brown, but his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN the one-year contract is worth up to $15 million and includes a $9 million signing bonus, another $1 million guaranteed and $5 million in incentives.
As Brown illustrated with his Instagram cartoon, that is a lot of Benjamins.
