Preparation for the NFL Draft tends to follow the same routine year after year: Senior Bowl, NFL Combine in Indianapolis, pro days at colleges, and so on. But Chiefs coach Andy Reid is taking it to extremes.
For the second consecutive year, knee replacement surgery will keep Reid from a major pre-Draft event. The 57-year-old coach will skip this week's Combine after his latest surgery, the team announced Saturday.

Reid's latest procedure came a year after he missed the Senior Bowl for a knee replacement. He did attend the 2015 NFL Combine, using a cane to steady himself in Indianapolis.
