Amy Schumer won't be appearing in any commercials for Super Bowl LIII.
The comedian said the move is in support of Colin Kaepernick and his protest against social injustice and police brutality.

"I personally told my reps I wouldn't do a Super Bowl commercial this year," said Schumer in an Instagram post. "I know it must sound like a privilege ass sacrifice but it's all I got. ... Hitting the NFL with the advertisers is the only way to hurt them."
Schumer, who appeared in a Bud Light Super Bowl ad two years ago, also challenged white NFL players to kneel during the national anthem to support their black teammates.
"Otherwise, how are you not complicit?" Schumer wrote. "Stand up for your brothers and sisters of color."

This season, only three NFL players have kneeled during the national anthem — Carolina Panthers' Eric Reid and Miami Dolphins' Kenny Stills and Albert Wilson.
Kaepernick, who has not played in the NFL since 2016, is currently pursuing a collusion grievance against the league.
The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback believes NFL teams colluded to keep him out of the league as a result of his protest.
