Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown spent the first day after signing his massive four-year, $120.01 million contract extension handing out pizzas for Little Caesars Love Kitchen at a community event.
During it, he spoke to the media and shared his thoughts on his new contract, which makes him the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL. St. Brown made it abundantly clear that nothing will change just because he's got a few extra bucks in his bank account and, in fact, he plans on working harder.
"I gotta go harder," St. Brown said, per ESPN's Eric Woodyard. "I tell everyone, I'm going harder now. I'm not changing. Our goal is that Lombardi, we need it. We feel like we can do it, so that's our goal going into the season, is we want that trophy. But I'm not changing, everyone knows that or I hope they do or they'll find out. I'm just glad I'm here for four more years — whatever it is — to be with the guys, the coaches, the teammates, the fans, everyone that's a part of the organization."

When asked to reflect on his own now-infamous draft experience, St. Brown revealed that he actually did not want the Lions to take him.
However, he said it was the best thing that could have happened and noted he isn't sure he could have succeeded like he has anywhere else. He adds that if he had a chance to do it all again, he'd give money to play in Detroit.

With his new deal, St. Brown is now the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL in terms of annual average. It's well-deserved for a player who has emerged as one of the better ones at his position in the league.
