Vintage Adrian Peterson showed up to help the Vikings beat the Chargers 31-14 on Sunday for a second straight win.
Peterson rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns as the Vikings controlled the game from start to finish. They were AP's first touchdowns of the season and the first since Week 12 of the 2013 season after missing all but one week a year ago.

Peterson scored the game’s first touchdown on a 2-yard plunge with 9:09 left in the second quarter. He added another on a 43-yard scamper early in the third period, breaking tackles on his way to the endzone.

The Vikings improved to 2-1 with the win, while the Chargers dropped to 1-2. Peterson has run for more than 100 yards in both wins.
