Adrian Clayborn injury update: Falcons DE will miss remainder of postseason, report says image

The Falcons will be without Adrian Clayborn for the remainder of the postseason after the defensive end tore his bicep against the Seahawks, according to NFL.com.

The injury occurred during Saturday's divisional playoff win over the Seattle.

Clayborn played in 13 games during the regular season. He recorded 22 tackles, 4.5 sacks and a fumble recovery while fitting into Atlanta's talented front-four rotation.

It's a big loss for the Falcons, who count on Clayborn for pressure on the edge as well as run-stopping support on third downs.

Clayborn, 28, was the 20th overall pick in the 2011 draft by the Buccaneers. The St. Louis native and Iowa alum has 20.5 career sacks during the regular season.

The Falcons will take on the winner of Sunday's clash between the Packers and Cowboys for a chance to play in the Super Bowl.
