An unlikely person has come to the defense of Russell Wilson after Aaron Rodgers took a shot at the Seahawks quarterback.
The Packers finally defeated the Seahawks 27-17 in Week 2 of the regular season, breaking a four-game losing streak against Seattle. Many think Rodgers poked fun at Wilson by saying "God was a Packers fan" during a postgame interview.

Wilson, who is a devout Christian and known for thanking God during his interviews, responded well to the shot, something Rodgers' brother, Jordan, said he admired.
My parents taught this as well, way to take the high road @DangeRussWilson https://t.co/RoNT6Dz5jK
