If it was a Super Bowl preview, it was a welcome sight: Old school, smash-mouth football was alive and well in Baltimore on Sunday.

The Ravens defended Baltimore and notched a last-second 20-17 victory in what could be a preview of the final game of the season. Justin Tucker notched the game-winner with time expiring, giving the Ravens their 10th win on the season — and the 49ers their second loss.

While Lamar Jackson connected with Mark Andrews early on for a touchdown, Jackson did most of his damage on the ground. On 16 carries, the MVP candidate tore up the Niners defense for 101 yards (6.3 yards per carry) and a touchdown. Mark Ingram added another 59 yards on 16 carries on the ground.

For the 49ers, Raheem Mostert had a monster day, ripping up the Ravens' defense for 146 yards and a touchdown (7.7 yards per carry), while Jimmy Garoppolo completed 15 passes for 165 yards and a touchdown in the loss.

4:00 p.m. END OF GAME: The kick is up, and it's good. The Ravens win with no time left, 20-17.

3:59 p.m.: Three seconds left and the Ravens are lining up for a 49-yard field goal attempt.

3:56 p.m.: Clock is ticking with a minute left and Justin Tucker is warming up. 49ers have no timeouts left in the game. It is pouring in Baltimore. Ravens on the Niners 31.

3:51 p.m.: Ravens convert and they have just under two minutes to play with in the fourth. They cross into 49ers territory.

3:46 p.m.: Five minutes left and these defenses are bearing down. Fourth-and-1 for the Ravens here.

3:42 p.m.: The 49ers go for it on fourth-and-1, and the Garoppolo pass is batted down at the line.

3:38 p.m.: Clock is ticking in the fourth, the 49ers are driving with eight minutes left. Nearing Baltimore red zone.

2:53 p.m.: 49ers cross into Ravens territory with 10 minutes left in the third. Down three points.

2:46 p.m.: Lamar Jackson fumbles for the first time this season and the 49ers will take over with 12:03 on the clock in the third.

2:42 p.m.: Second half is underway and the Ravens will start off at their own 25.

2:27 p.m. END OF HALF: Robbie Gould slices a kick wide right, and the Ravens enter the locker room with a three-point lead.

2:19 p.m.: 49ers are driving with just under a minute left in the half. They have all three timeouts.

1:46 p.m.: Lamar Jackson just juked K'Waun Williams out of his cleats. My lord.

1:41 p.m. END OF FIRST QUARTER: Lamar Jackson and the Ravens answer the early TD with one of their own, and they're driving to start the second.

1:39 p.m.: 1:45 left in the first and the Ravens have entered 49ers territory.

1:34 p.m.: 49ers can't seem to get much going on offense following their opening drive TD, as they punt again.

1:26 p.m. BALTIMORE SCORING PLAY: Didn't take long for Lamar Jackson and the Ravens to answer, as Jackson hits Mark Andrews for a touchdown. The game is knotted at 7 with 5:41 left to go in the first.

1:24 p.m.: 49ers were driving and Jimmy Garoppolo fumbles in their own territory. Ravens take over on the 49ers 23-yard line. Big moment early on.

1:19 p.m.: 49ers defense holds and force the Ravens to punt. Lamar Jackson had a few runs early in the drive.

1:14 p.m.: Lamar Jackson takes the field as the Ravens look to answer.

1:10 p.m. SAN FRANCISCO SCORING PLAY: On a fourth-and-2, Jimmy Garoppolo finds Deebo Samuel for a touchdown strike. Samuel with a really nice adjustment on the ball for the score. San Fran scores first, 7-0 early.

1:07 p.m.: Marlon Humphrey comes up hobbled, but walks off the field on his own power following a Kendrick Bourne catch-and-run for the first down.

1:02 p.m.: The 49ers will get the ball first to start the game.

12:57 p.m.: Lamar Jackson and the Raiders take the field and we are just about set in Baltimore.
