The 2024 NFL Draft is right around the corner, and the possibilities for the Los Angeles Rams continue to skyrocket. No one is quite sure what they will, which is exactly what general manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay want.
In NFL.com's latest 7-round mock draft, Chad Reuter has the Rams trading back from 19 and continuing to stockpile draft picks. The Rams traded with the Kansas City Chiefs, moving all the way back to 32 but picking up a second-rounder, 64th overall, in the process.
The full list of picks can be found below:
Round 1, Pick 32: Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
Wiggins' closing speed is rare, and despite his thin build, he is willing to fight for the ball through the catch. The Rams may not be able to ignore the corner's value at the bottom of the first round, even after signing Darious Williams and Tre'Davious White, who’s coming off an Achilles injury. I wouldn't be surprised if GM Les Snead were to trade back again, adding to the team's seven-year streak without making a first-round pick.
Round 2, Pick 52: Michael Hall, DT, Ohio State
Round 2, Pick 64 (via KC): Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU
Round 3, Pick 83: Austin Booker, EDGE, Kansas
Round 3, Pick 99: Cedric Gray, LB, North Carolina
Round 5, Pick 154: Dylan Laube, RB, New Hampshire
Round 5, Pick 155: Will Reichard, K, Alabama
Round 6, Pick 196: Kitan Oladapo, S, Oregon State
Round 6, Pick 209: Tahj Washington, WR, USC
Round 6, Pick 213: Casey Rogers, DT, Oregon
Round 6, Pick 217: Josh Newton, CB, TCU
Round 7, Pick 254: Devin Leary, QB, Kentucky
This is a pretty stout haul for the Rams, especially at the top of the draft with three potential early contributors on defense. That makes the idea of trading back an appealing option.
Rams fans, what do you think?
