Right now, the Atlanta Falcons and the rest of the NFL are configuring their roster and figuring out who of the 90-man roster will be making the final 53-man roster. One of the best tools to use is the NFL preseason, now only three games, as it gives teams that look against other players outside of the building in Flowery Branch. NFL Media's Ian Rapoport announced all 48 games for this year's preseason, starting with the Hall of Fame game on Thursday, August 1st, between the Chicago Bears and the Houston Texans.

For Atlanta, the preseason games are as follows:
- @ Miami Dolphins - August 9th, 7:00 p.m. EST
- @ Baltimore Ravens - August 17th, Noon EST
- vs. Jacksonville Jaguars - August 23rd, 7 p.m. EST
