Three starters are the only players on the New York Jets' first Week 4 injury report and one of them isn't even injured.

Left tackle Tyron Smith was limited during his usual veteran rest day while two other Jets were non-participants at Wednesday's practice in Florham Park.

Right tackle Morgan Moses and linebacker CJ Mosley are both on the shelf after suffering in-game injuries. The former won't be available for the September 29 home game against the Denver Broncos, but head coach Robert Saleh announced that the bookend isn't heading to Injured Reserve.

"Morgan, he's gonna be a couple games, but obviously not enough to put him on IR," said Saleh. "He's just dealing with a knee."

Moses was forced out of the Jets' Week 3 win on the final play of the third quarter. There have been external reports of an MCL sprain. First-round rookie Olu Fashanu replaces Moses in the lineup as the starter for the time being.

Meanwhile, Mosley banged his toe during the September 15 victory over the Tennessee Titans. He did not practice leading up to the Thursday Night Football affair against the New England Patriots. As for his availability in Week 4, it sounds iffy at best.

"It’s going to come up to it. We'll see how things go, but we were planning on giving him some vet days anyway. We're going to, I don't want to say be overly cautious, but we'll just make sure that this toe doesn't become a problem," said Saleh.

Should Mosley be unavailable again, Jamien Sherwood would be called back into action.
