New York Jets' running back Breece Hall sounded like somebody who knows something when answering a question about an All-Pro wide receiver.

Sitting down for an interview with former NFL Network host Kay Adams, Hall entertained the topic of the Jets potentially acquiring former Aaron Rodgers teammate Davante Adams.

Hall, who ranked second amongst all running backs in total scrimmage yards last season, was asked about his expectation to touch the football frequently in the Rodgers-led offense and whether or not that expectation would change if Adams joined the Jets at some point.

"No, I'm getting the ball the second most. Davante, he knows he's gonna get his, but I'm definitely going to be," said Hall before the interviewer cut him off for the million dollar question.

The Up & Adams Show star bluntly asked, "I'm sorry, is Davante a Jet [already]?"

That's when Hall's GM instincts seemingly activated.

"You never know. You never know," said Hall slyly. "We're always talking. We're always scheming."

As to what the addition of a three-time All-Pro First Team wide receiver would mean for the Jets' offense, Hall hinted at the emergence of a juggernaut.

"With him, and then with Garrett [Wilson] and Mike Williams, it's just pick your poison. Do you want me to beat you or do you want those three to beat you with Aaron?" said Hall.

Adams has made at least 100 receptions each of his last four seasons, including back-to-back campaigns since moving from the Green Bay Packers to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Earlier in the Adams reaffirmed his commitment to the Raiders as a trade remains highly unlikely due to salary cap factors and the cost of compensation.
