The Jets made a lot of moves this offseason to fix the mistakes that plagued their ill-fated 2023 campaign.

No, they didn't give Aaron Rodgers a bionic Achilles. Or trade for a superstar wide receiver like Davante Adams or Justin Jefferson. The Jets didn't even trade up in the 2024 NFL Draft or take dynamic tight end Brock Bowers in the first round.

But what the Jets did this offseason earned them a lot of praise from the NFL community. New York upgraded the offensive line and skill position group while retaining or replacing key pieces to the defense.

One move, though, was deemed more important than the rest. Bleacher Report's Ryan Fowler listed his picks for all 32 teams' most dangerous additions this offseason.

For the Jets, Fowler looked at the 2024 NFL Draft for the player he believes will help Gang Green break their 13-season playoff streak this year.

Fowler named third-round rookie wide receiver Malachi Corley as the Jets' most dangerous addition this offseason. And for good reason: Corley was a herald college receiver at Western Kentucky where he wracked up the most yards after the catch among his peers. That earned him the self-titled "YAC King nickname. He's also one of the strongest receivers in the 2024 class.

The New York Jets added a number of headliners in the offseason, including offensive tackles Tyron Smith and Morgan Moses and veteran wide receiver Mike Williams

Third-round pick Malachi Corley might be the most dangerous of them all, though. He should immediately draw eyes from opposing secondaries and expand the Jets' playbook.

Williams and Garrett Wilson will gobble up targets on the perimeter, but Corley's ability to align up and down the line of scrimmage will give quarterback Aaron Rodgers and offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett a unique chess piece to utilize.

Corley figures to play a key role in the Jets offense with his pass-catching skills in the intermediate area of the field. It's why he's been compared to Deebo Samuel during the pre-draft process. Corley is a solid complement to outside receivers Garrett Wilson, Mike Williams and Allen Lazard and should be a Day 1 target for Rodgers.

It helps, too, that Rodgers already loves Corley and is even willing to let him stay in his guesthouse this summer.
